With the arrival of Artas Robotic, there is a significant advance of the previous techniques of hair transplantation, regarding the harvest of the grafts. In the FUT (Follicular Unit Transplant) technique, grafts are achieved after removal of a scalp segment that leaves a linear scar from ear to ear in place. In the FUE technique (Follicular Unit Extraction), the grafts are harvested directly from the donor area through a manual microapparatus without leaving visible scars.
